Terms of Service

By using Mwanda, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. The service
Mwanda is a platform that enables customers to order groceries and goods for delivery within Zimbabwe, pay utility bills, and send packages. We connect customers with local vendors and delivery partners.
Mwanda is operated from Zimbabwe. Our services are primarily intended for use within Zimbabwe and for diaspora customers sending to Zimbabwe.
2. Your account
To use Mwanda, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at hello@mwanda.co.zw
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
3. Orders and payments
When you place an order through Mwanda:
- You authorise us to charge the payment method on file
- Prices are displayed in USD or ZiG as indicated; exchange rates may apply
- Order confirmation does not guarantee item availability — we will contact you if an item is out of stock
- Delivery fees and estimated times are shown at checkout and may vary based on location
4. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel an order before it is picked up by a driver. Once a delivery is in progress, cancellations are not guaranteed.
Refunds are issued for:
- Orders that were not fulfilled
- Items that were incorrect or damaged upon delivery
- Duplicate charges
To request a refund, contact us at hello@mwanda.co.zw within 24 hours of delivery.
5. Prohibited use
You agree not to use Mwanda to:
- Order, transport, or pay for any illegal goods or services
- Harass or harm drivers or other users
- Attempt to circumvent our payment systems
- Use automated bots or scrapers on our platform
- Provide false addresses or contact information
6. Our liability
Mwanda acts as a platform connecting customers, vendors, and drivers. We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
- Product quality issues from third-party vendors
- Losses arising from incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the value of the specific order in question.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Mwanda platform — including logos, design, copy, and code — is owned by Mwanda or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of it without written permission.
8. Changes to the service
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe.
